Kinross-shire Rapair Cafe on Sat 12 Apr in Milnathort
Kinross-shire Repair Cafe
Saturday 12 Apr / 10pm / Orwell Church Hall in Milnathort
As we enter the second year of Kinross-shire Repair Café, we are excited to announce some exciting developments!
After a successful start in 2024, we are expanding our repair events from four to six, offering even more opportunities for the community to repair broken items, reduce waste, and save money.
Our next Repair Café is taking place in Orwell Church Hall, Ba’s Hill, Milnathort.
This free event will feature a wide range of repair services, including:
• Electronics & Electric Items (including PAT testing) – please ensure items are easily opened.
• Textiles (including soft toys)
• Bikes – we will fix punctures and offer repair demonstrations.
• Instruments – guitars, strings, brass, and keyboards.
There are a few parking places available near the hall.
We register all repairs for monitoring purposes and insurance.
While repairs are free, we ask that you cover the cost of any new parts. Repairs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early!
And do not forget, we will be serving tea, coffee, and biscuits while you chat with others in the community.
Please note that the registration of electric and electronic repairs closes at 12:00 (due to complexity of electric repairs).
As a volunteer-led organisation, we rely on your support to keep our Repair Café thriving. Please remember, all our volunteers are giving their time for free – if you encounter any issues, kindly fill out our feedback form or contact the Coordinator (details below). The feedback helps us to improve our services.
We are very grateful for your generous donations, which help us continue to organise repair cafes in 2025 and beyond.
